FAQs
Why are you charging for the courses?
Islam is precious and deserves the best. To deliver courses in a professional, constructive and efficient manner, money is needed. IlmStoke is a non profit making organisation, which means that the money is spent on costs such as venue, teachers (travel etc), course materials, website, stationary etc.
Even though there is a small charge for the courses, we rely heavily on donations as there is usually a shortfall.
Previously courses have been free where possible due to large donations received. Should you not be able to afford the small charge then please contact us and we will try to help wherever possible inshAllah.
What group or organisation do you belong to?
IlmStoke is a non-profit making & non-partisan organisation; we are not affiliated with any groups or Islamic organisations or mosques. Our purpose is to provide traditional Islamic teachings to people primarily residing in Stoke on Trent, however everybody is welcome to attend.
